New Delhi: Asus has recently unveils its latest handheld gaming console by extending its handheld gaming console. Asus has introduced its ROG Xbox Ally X20, which features a 7.4-inch OLED display, a great update over the smaller 7-inch LCD display of the original Ally X.
It has a variable refresh rate that has been improved, and now it goes all the way down to 30Hz or up to 120Hz. This upgrade display is brighter to boot, reaching up to 1,400nits. It also boasts both VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 1000 and Dolby Vision support.
The screen is protected by the Gorilla Glass Victus with GG DXC anti-glare coating. An AMD Z2 Extreme with the 8 cores running at up to 5.0GHz, 24MB of cache, 16 graphics cores, and configurable TDP of 15-35W. APU is connected to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and a 1TB NVMe SSD (PCIe 4.0, M.2 2280).
The major update is the latest joysticks with TMR sensor, which is the latest technology that is replacing Hall effect sensors and is resistant to stick drift. The ABXY buttons were redesigned, too, so they now go flush with the case when users press them down.
It has one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 with the DisplayPort, one USB-C 4.0 (Thunderbolt 4 and DisplayPort 2.1 with FreeSync support), and one 3.5mm headphone jack. Wireless connectivity includes tri-band Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4. It has a microSD Express slot for fast extra storage. It has stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos on board. It comes with the same 80Whr Li-Ion battery.
