The new season of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, starring Harshad Chopda and Shivangi Joshi, premiered today. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, the show introduces a fresh narrative with characters Rishabh and Bhagyashree at the center of the storyline.The initial episode started with Bhagyashree's pet dog Kaddu consuming leftover non-vegetarian food from the garbage of a neighbor. Neighbors scolded Bhagyashree, blaming her for failing to feed proper meals to her dog and taunting her for living a lonely life and not having anything exciting happening around her.Filmed on New Year's Eve, the story begins with Bhagyashree reporting to work at her office, where she is the proprietor of a company.

Although her staff were initially frustrated at having to work on the holiday, Bhagyashree later sends them home and works by herself. One colleague came over to ask for a job for a needy friend, which she refused.Subsequently, Bhagyashree's friend and her husband convinced her to go to the New Year party of the society, where she met a potential groom. Bhagyashree refused the offer, stating that there were unresolved issues from her previous life.

The man demeaned her as a result, which prompted Bhagyashree to go home upset, to find that Kaddu had disappeared.While looking for Kaddu, Bhagyashree noticed Rishabh holding and speaking softly to her dog. In the process, a beggar came to Rishabh, and he gave him his whole wallet, saying that a good deed would one day come back to him. Bhagyashree watched this and seemed to be emotionally touched by his act.After the incident, Bhagyashree called her colleague and permitted him to bring the jobless friend to meet her for a job prospect.

The friend proved to be Rishabh.Bhagyashree later took an emotional call from her dad, ending the first episode on a personal level.Audience members reacted well to the initial episode on social media.
