Bar Council elections held peacefully

Elections to the Bar Council of Andhra Pradesh were held peacefully, with over 80% polling on Friday.

Bar Council secretary B. Padmalatha said in a press release that votes were cast at 149 polling stations, including at the office of the Supreme Court Bar Association in New Delhi, under the supervision of Returning Officer Justice A.V. Sesha Sai and Observer Justice V.R.K. Krupa Sagar.

The counting of votes would begin on February 16 at the High Court.
