Nationalist Congress Party MP, Supriya Sule on Thursday called for an “unopposed election" in Baramati as respect and unity to honour late Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also spoke to state Congress unit chief Harshwardhan Sapkal and urged him to withdraw candidate against Sunetra Pawar, who is contesting a bypoll from Baramati seat following the death of her husband Ajit Pawar in a plane crash.
