New Delhi: Xiaomi has officially unveiled its most-awaited Redmi A7 Pro 5G device in India, the first Pro model in the Redmi A series. This device features a 6.9-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate for a smooth scrolling user experience. With the peak brightness of up to 800nits, it houses a massive 6,300mAh battery pack.
It is powered by the octa-core 5G processor. This device runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 3.0 based on Android 16.
Now, let’s discuss pricing for the base variant, which has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, priced at Rs 12,499. This device will be available starting from April 15 via Xiaomi’s official website and e-commerce platform Amazon.
It also includes Wet Touch 2.0, which Xiaomi stated enables the screen to respond even when the hands are wet or oily. For eye comfort, this device includes TUV Rheinland certifications alongside DC dimming to reduce the strain during long usage.
This device’s storage can be expanded up to 2TB by using a microSD card. This device runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 3.0, and it includes AI features like Google Gemini and Circle to Search. Other features also include Xiaomi Hyper Island for multitasking and interconnectivity options for working with other Xiaomi devices. It also supports 15W wired charging, and there is 7.5W wired reverse charging support.
In terms of the camera, it features a 32MP dual rear camera setup with HDR support and an 8MP front-facing camera sensor for selfies and video calling. It also features AI Sky for adjusting backgrounds and Document Mode, which can be used to scan documents. It also carries an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance.
