Indian Air Force chief Air Chief Marshal AP Singh unveiled some rare before-and-after images of Pakistani military targets struck by India, depicting the destruction.

While speaking at the Air Chief Marshal LM Katre lecture in Bengaluru, the IAF chief shared a presentation that described what happened during Operation Sindoor and the IAF’s thought process during the conflict.

In a massive revelation, Air Marshal Singh said that India’s air defence surface-to-air missile systems destroyed five Pakistani fighter jets and an AEW&C/ELINT aircraft, which is a specialised military plane designed for airborne surveillance, early warning. He also said that some parked F-16 jets were destroyed in Jacobabad and an AEW&C in Bholari.

The images showed before and after comparison of India’s retaliatory strikes on Pakistan’s air defence radars and airfields.

IAF chief said that the defence forces successfully executed their assigned tasks with precision and in line with national objectives during the operation.

Arifwala

In Arifwala, an IAF loiter munition successfully struck a radar installation.

Chunian

The IAF shared the image of the destroyed radar head at Chunian airbase.

Nur Khan PAF Base (Chaklala) – C2 Centre

The damage at Nur Khan airbase has already been analysed using satellite imagery.

Rahim Yar Khan PAK Base: Runway And UAV Hub

At Rahim Yar Khan airbase, based on specific intelligence, the runway and civil terminal were targeted, and the runway at this place is yet to be operationalised.

Sukkur PAF Base: UAV Hub

At Sukkur, a long-range radar was destroyed while the UAV hangar was decimated.

Bholari PAF Base: AEW&C Aircraft Hangar

The Indian forces struck various ammunition depots and bases like Sagodha and Bholari, which housed F-16s and JF-17 fighter jets were hit. This led to the destruction of 20% infrastructure of Pakistan’s air force.

At Bholari, the AEW&C hangar was targeted, and, likely, an AEW&C aircraft had just taxied inside the hangar, as per the IAF. The casualties at this location have been publicised in Pakistani media.

Sargodha PAF Base- Runway

The runway at this heavily defended air-base was hit precisely, to convey a message that we are capable of targeting the pride of PAF as it houses some prized PAF institutions.

Shahbaz PAF Base (Jacobabad): PAF F-16 Base

At Jacobabad, multiple F-16 aircraft are suspected to be damaged in the IAF attack on the main hangar at this important airbase.

Between 8 and 10 May, IAF fighter jets struck 11 military air bases across Pakistan in a coordinated, precision-led campaign. The objective was to cripple Pakistan Air Force’s capability to launch aerial attacks using drones and fighter jets. “The Indian Air Force had their assets up in the sky," DGMO Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai had said earlier.

“Within 3 hours 11 bases were attacked, including Nur Khan, Rafiqui, Murid, Sukkur, Sialkot, Pasrur, Chunian, Sargodha, Skaru, Bholari and Jacobabad," he had added.

Additionally, the IAF struck prominent targets, the Jaish-e-Mohammad stronghold of Bahawalpur and the other at Lashkar-e-Taiba’s base Muridke in Punjab province of Pakistan during Operation Sindoor.
