Car racer Bianca Bustamante currently has her hands full with multiple opportunities, but the 21-year-old isn’t complaining. Cupra Kiro has given their development driver the go-ahead to participate in the upcoming Madrid Rookie Test.
This will be her fourth outing in a Formula E car. Currently busy preparing for the Eurocup-3 series this coming weekend, Bustamante will then head to Madrid to take part in the Rookie Test on March 22.

Cupra Kiro made the announcement about the Madrid Rookie Test on Tuesday. Sharing a poster with the title “Guess who’s back”, the team posted on Instagram with the caption: “Can Madrid come sooner please? Asking for a friend (@racerbia is the friend).”
The team further welcomed her, writing: “Welcome back, Queen B.”Cupra Kiro driver Pepe Marti reacted to the post with several clapping emojis. A comment from Formula E’s official page read: “Woooooo, @racerbia!!”
Bianca Bustamante ready to make the most of Madrid Rookie Test
Bianca Bustamante already has some experience in a Formula E car. She made her Formula E debut at the 2024 inaugural Women’s Test and then went on to participate in the 2025 Berlin Rookie Test and the 2025/26 Women’s Test in Valencia.
Sharing her excitement about continuing to build her Formula E experience, she told FormulaE.com, “After first getting behind the wheel of the Cupra Kiro in Berlin, my most recent test in Valencia was a really positive step forward, so to be back in the car again so soon is a fantastic opportunity to keep learning, to push myself, and to apply everything I’ve been working on behind the scenes.”“At this stage of my career, every opportunity is incredibly valuable, and I’m proud to be supporting the team.
Madrid is another important milestone for me, and I’m ready to make the most of it,” she added.Cupra Kiro Team Principal Russell O’Hagan also had words of praise for Bustamante, saying, “We’re really looking forward to having Bianca back in the car this weekend. Since joining CUPRA KIRO as our Development Driver in Season 11, Bianca has impressed us enormously, not only with her professionalism and maturity, but with the role she’s played in our development and in actively promoting female participation in motorsport more broadly.
”Dropping hints about announcing a second driver for the Rookie Test, he further added, “We’re very excited to give Bianca her next taste of Formula E in Madrid and can’t wait to see her build on her current progress. This upcoming test is an important opportunity for us as a team, and we’re very eager to maximise it.
