BIE extends date for payment of examination fee under Tatkal scheme

Responding to requests made by the students, the State Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) has extended the last date for payment of examination fee under the Tatkal scheme.

In a statement on Tuesday, Board Secretary P. Ranjit Basha said students from first and second year Intermediate (regular and private) from both general and vocational streams appearing for the Intermediate Public Examination scheduled in March 2026 could pay their fee and remit the same to the bank from December 22, 2025, to January 5, 2026, with a fine of ₹5,000 under the Tatkal scheme.

Mr. Basha directed principals and school and college managements to display the information on the notice boards of their respective institutions, and made it clear that there would be no further extension of the date under the Tatkal scheme.
