Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday thanked the President of Seychelles for the warm welcome and expressed gratitude for being conferred the “Guardian of the Blue Horizon" award. Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister said, “India and Seychelles will work with each other."
He also welcomed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the Unified Payments Interface (UPI), saying, “I am happy that an MoU has been signed between India and Seychelles for UPI."
Highlighting the outcomes of bilateral talks, PM Modi said, “Today, we discussed making our economic cooperation more resilient and future-ready. We will continue to explore new opportunities for the industries of both our countries. Work will also be done to enhance connectivity between India and Seychelles."
