Through a heartfelt Instagram statement, Nehal expressed her anger, pain and concern for women silently facing abuse inside their homes.Speaking about the issue, Nehal wrote, “What happened with Twisha & Deepika and many many others honestly fills me with rage. And it hits even harder because as someone who has experienced physical assault in the past, I know exactly why so many women stay silent. People ask, ‘Why didn’t she speak earlier?’ Because fear changes you.

Trauma confuses you. Society judges you before it protects you.”With these words, Nehal tried to explain why many women stay silent for years and how fear often stops them from speaking openly.She further added, “The fact that dowry is STILL a reason women are being harassed, abused, tortured or pushed to extremes in 2026 is disgusting.”
