Pranit More opens up about getting assaulted over his jokes on actor Veer Pahariya; says, “I wondered how could someone do it over a joke”

Controversial reality show Bigg Boss 19 premiered last night (24th August) with Salman Khan returning as the host and winning the hearts of audiences. Several popular contestants made it to the show and fans are excited to watch them.

Pranit More, a stand-up comedian who is also a contestant this year, opened up about what made him say ‘yes’ to the show, how excited he was to meet Salman Khan, and more.

What caught many eyeballs was how he spoke about his assault case over the jokes he had made on actor Veer Pahariya. While talking about the assault, he said, “I was affected when this happened. I used to wonder how anyone could take such a strict step over a joke, so I’ve started to be careful.

However, I don’t change my jokes, because if I start doing that, then their agenda is fulfilled. I don’t think I’ll change my behaviour in Bigg Boss because of this.”He further shared, “If people want to use my life situations against me, I’m okay with it. Because if someone has researched so much about me to make a joke, I’ll feel they’ve actually put hard work into it, and in return, I’ll also make a joke about them.”Pranit later revealed what made him say ‘yes’ to the show and mentioned, “I felt like I would have a new audience, so I said yes to the show.

I’m excited as well as nervous. The theme of the show is politics, but I’m not much of a politics person. Even during my college days, I never participated in such things. Still, I’ll play good politics if required.”Bigg Boss 19 kicked off with a star-studded lineup of contestants including Gaurav Khanna, Ashnoor Kaur, Awez Darbar, Nagma Mirajkar, Baseer Ali, Pranit More, Tanya Mittal, Zeishan Quadri, Abhishek Bajaj, Nehal Chudasama, Neelam Giri, and Amaal Malik, among others. With such a diverse mix, the season promises high drama, unexpected twists, and non-stop entertainment.
