Bigg Boss Marathi 6: Aayush Sanjeev finally speaks his truth!

Congratulations on your stint in Bigg Boss Marathi 6. It was lovely seeing you on the show. How would you sum up your journey in a few words?

Thank you so much. Bigg Boss is a dream. It has to be in your destiny, and it happens to very few people. The percentage is extremely low. So for me, it was one of the high points of my life.I have been a background dancer on 'Bigg Boss' before, and I remember those days. I never called it a struggle. I have always enjoyed being a dancer and an actor. Even inside the house, I enjoyed doing the duties. But some things are not in your control. The first week was the toughest because I’ve been an introvert for more than 27 years.

I don’t know how to socialize. I have a very small circle, just two close friends and my family. Suddenly entering a house where you have to interact, bond, and play a game was overwhelming. The first three weeks were wonderful overall. I became captain in the second week, and that phase was a turning point for me.

You mentioned becoming captain. What changed after that?

During the “power key” issue, I didn’t eat for 30 hours. I stood by my point, but it went unnoticed during the weekend episode.

That motivated me to become captain because the captain always gets noticed. When I became captain, my game was top-notch. I decided I wouldn’t rule the house, Bigg Boss rules the house. I would just take care of it. That was my blueprint.People later claimed they would throw water and bang plates, which I find inhuman.

During my captaincy, I stood by fairness. Secretly, I feel my captaincy was one of the best.

After that, your health started deteriorating. Was it serious?

Yes, it was serious. Around six to seven months ago, I had a terrible accident on a set.

The injury resurfaced inside the house. I was in a lot of pain. The medical support inside was excellent, but recovery was slow. Everyone was performing tasks, and I was stuck on the bed taking medicines. That guilt and overthinking slowed my recovery further.I missed three tasks back-to-back. I knew people wouldn’t vote for someone who wasn’t visible.

So my eviction wasn’t a shock for me. I sensed it coming. But Karan’s eviction was a shock.

What do you have to say about Karan’s eviction?

I see him as a winner. He had planned so much; his analysis was sharp. It just felt like bad timing. Maybe he should have played faster. The house is unpredictable. We even manifested that one of us would bring the trophy home to Thane. We did come back together, just without the trophy. So maybe our manifestation was 50% right.

During your tough time, who stood by you?

Karan and Prajakta were my biggest support. They ensured I took my medicines on time, ate properly, and stayed mentally engaged.

They even cooked for me twice. Sachin, Sagar, and Tanvi also supported me in different ways. I missed my mom a lot — maybe 90%. But Karan and Prajakta covered 10% of that emotional gap. I will always be grateful. And also those who didn't bothered about me, I will not forget.

Now that you’re out, who do you think can win?

I really want Prajakta to win because she’s our best friend. But Tanvi is also a very strong contender. She understands the game, is mentally and physically strong, and has the fire to win.

Who do you see as the game changer in the house?

I wouldn’t say it positively, but Rakesh has changed his personality. I value personality over the trophy. For the first three weeks, he was a gentleman, but later his behavior changed drastically. I believe tasks should be completed properly. A lot of effort goes into designing them, and destroying them doesn’t feel right to me.

What was your worst day inside the house?

The first day I fell sick was the worst. I knew I would be down for at least four days. Another tough moment was the punching bag incident with Tanvi.

I didn’t realize she was hurt so deeply. If someone is hurt because of me, I feel genuinely sorry. That was emotionally heavy. But we sorted the issues on the same day.

Rapid Fire Round

Prajakta: Like an elder sister. I never felt the need for one before, but now I do.Sachin: A genuine, kind-hearted people’s man.Sagar: The problem-solver of the boys’ group.Rakesh: Double standards, which I dislike.Anushree: Unpredictable but fun.Tanvi: A good friend.Ruchita: Noisy at times but a strong player.Prabhu: Smart and more mature than he appears.Vishal: A gamer from day one, wears his mask confidently.Deepali: Intimidating and confusing at times.Roshan: Innocent but unaware of the bigger game.Rakhi: I’m her fan. There can only be one Rakhi in this universe. I have spent time with her and the respect for her has only increased.

How do you see life after Bigg Boss?

Bigg Boss teaches you to value small things. A cup of tea on time, calling your mother, these feel special now. I never valued them enough before. Now I feel complete. I feel grateful.
