Bill Belichick’s next big play isn’t happening on the sidelines, it’s happening in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. The legendary coach and his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, are officially moving into the world of branding with a trademark for the phrase “Gold Digger.
” And no, it’s not a Kanye track, it’s reportedly meant for a line of jewelry and keychains.
Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson file ‘Gold Digger’ trademark for jewelry line
According to Darren Rovell, filings were made through Bill Belichick’s company, TCE Rights Management LLC, which Jordon Hudson helps run. The “Gold Digger” trademark will cover merchandise like jewelry, keychains, and accessories, marking one of the more eyebrow-raising ventures from the NFL icon.
For a man known for stone-faced press conferences and hoodie cutoffs, pivoting into jewelry feels like a wild career move.
But it’s very real and part of a much larger trademark spree.
The long list of Bill Belichick trademarks this year
The “Gold Digger” filing isn’t a one-off. In 2025 alone, Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson have applied for a slew of trademarks, including:
- “Chapel Bill”
- “Belestrator”
- “Trail of Salty Tears”
- “No Days Off”
- “The Belichick Way”
Earlier filings also included “Do Your Job,” “Ignore the Noise,” and even “No Days Off (Bill’s Version),” separating them from the trademarks owned by the Patriots organization. It’s clear Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson are carving out their own intellectual property lane, independent of New England.
Jordon Hudson’s growing role in Bill Belichick’s brand
Jordon Hudson has quickly gone from Belichick’s girlfriend to his full-on brand manager. She’s the one steering this rebrand, overseeing the company’s trademark filings, and reportedly handling creative direction for Belichick’s second act.
Media outlets like People and Vanity Fair have painted her as the driving force behind this new image, making sure Belichick’s catchphrases and legacy aren’t just football history, they’re business opportunities.
In short, she’s turning Belichick from a sideline general into a lifestyle brand.
Whether “Gold Digger” jewelry takes off or flops, the message is clear, Belichick’s post-coaching life won’t be quiet. Instead of film rooms and playbooks, he’s now playing in the world of merch, marketing, and maybe even memes. Also read - Rashee Rice suspended six games by NFL after personal conduct policy violation
