BJP-backed Dhanbad mayor candidate gets BMS support

Dhanbad: The Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) on Monday formally announced its support for BJP-backed mayoral candidate Sanjeev Kumar. The announcement was made during a meeting held at the union’s local office, where Sanjeev was present along with Dhanbad MLA Raj Sinha.Several BMS office-bearers and workers attended the meeting. After deliberations, the union unanimously resolved to support the candidate backed by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and appealed to its members to vote in his favour.Addressing the gathering, Sanjeev Kumar said he has been receiving overwhelming support and blessings from various social organisations and citizens across the city. He expressed confidence that the growing backing from labour and community groups would ensure his victory in the polls. Sinha also urged workers to support the BJP-backed candidate, stating that the city needs capable leadership to accelerate development.

BMS leaders pledged to play an active role in the election campaigning.
