‘Boht nazar lagti hai’: When Mrunal Thakur said she believes in ‘evil eye’ and boundaries

Mrunal Thakur really believes in ‘nazar’, and that’s exactly why she respects boundaries when it comes to sharing her professional or personal life. Even amid rumors of allegedly dating Tamil actor-producer Dhanush, she has chosen to share her side, not much. But the ‘Sita Ramam’ actress has once explained why she consciously draws boundaries when it comes to sharing details about her plans. Talking to Instant Bollywood earlier, Mrunal Thakur admitted that she prefers to keep her plans to herself, as she believes in the evil eye. “There are a lot of things I still need to do with my career, a lot of boxes I haven’t checked. But I will talk about those things once I actually do them, because I don’t want to jinx it by talking about them. I believe the whole nazar thing, ‘boht nazar lagti hai’," she said.Mrunal Thakur also spoke about how she sets boundaries while navigating the public side of showbiz.

While her peers love to talk about their future projects, Mrunal Thakur avoids to discuss it. Why? “Boundaries. One should think before speaking about oneself. You should control how much you are telling the world. Sometimes we end up saying the things we want to do or are doing currently, and we jinx it ourselves. I have a very different personality in that sense, because someone might talk about the number of releases they have next year.

I don’t want to talk about it; everyone knows what’s coming and what’s not. I don’t like to constantly think and talk about the things that are happening in my life," she underlined. On the professional front, Mrunal Thakur will be next seen in 'Do Deewane Seher Mein'. She is starring alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi in the film. Helmed by Ravi Udyawar, the romantic drama is slated for release on February 20.
