Boxing coaching inaugurated at Regional Sports School in Karimnagar

Collector Pamela Satpathy inaugurated boxing coaching at the Regional Sports School near the Lower Manair Dam (LMD) in Karimnagar on Monday.

The Regional Sports School was set up in Karimnagar in 2006 to provide multi-disciplined sports coaching to students for nurturing young sports talents, sources said. The Regional Sports School currently coaches various sports disciplines. The Collector distributed headgear and gloves to the students on the occasion and urged the students to excel in both sports and academics. Officials of the District Sports Authority, members of Karimnagar Boxing Association and others were also present.
