Realty firm Brigade Enterprises Ltd has announced its entry into the industrial real estate segment with plans to develop a 25-acre industrial park in Bengaluru, aimed at tapping rising demand from manufacturing and technology-linked sectors, PTI reported.In a regulatory filing, the Bengaluru-based company said it will build ‘Brigade Industrial Park’ at Devanahalli in north Bengaluru. The project is expected to offer around 2 million sq ft of leasable space and cater to sectors such as aerospace and defence, IT/ITES and data centres. The company did not disclose the investment outlay for the development.In a separate filing, Brigade said its group company BuzzWorks, which provides managed office spaces, has leased 550 seats in Hyderabad to Dublin-based MyComplianceOffice (MCO), a global regulatory technology and compliance technology firm.
With the latest transaction, BuzzWorks’ total leased office space in Hyderabad has reached about 1.1 lakh sq ft.Established in 1986, Brigade Group has developed multiple projects across cities including Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mysuru, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram and GIFT City. The company operates in residential, commercial and hospitality real estate segments.
