HYDERABAD
Women leaders of the BRS, including former zilla parishad chairperson of Karimnagar Tula Uma, criticised K. Kavitha for “mortgaging the statehood movement ideologies for her selfish ends and sacrificing blood relations in the thirst of power.”
Ms. Uma, along with Hari Ramadevi and Nirsoha, said on Sunday that her remarks against her father KCR were unfortunate. They sought to know who would have recognised Ms. Kavitha had she not been the daughter of KCR. They reminded her that people said KCR’s daughter had floated a new party and not an individual called Kavitha.
