Global K-pop sensation BTS has officially released their new digital single titled 'Come Over'. The song dropped online, on Friday, giving fans worldwide a new tune to obsess over as part of the group's annual BTS Festa celebrations.The announcement was made by BigHit Music, which confirmed that the song will become available on streaming platforms, coinciding with festivities marking BTS' debut anniversary. 'Come Over' was previously featured on the deluxe vinyl edition of BTS' fifth studio album, 'Arirang', which was released last month. The upcoming digital launch will make the track widely accessible to listeners for the first time.
The song was produced by BTS member Suga, while RM and J-Hope also contributed to the track. Blending pop influences with stadium-anthem energy, the track features synthesiser-driven production and layered vocal arrangements.According to BigHit Music, the song's lyrics explore the theme of finding one's way back to an important person despite periods of uncertainty and distance. The agency noted that the message also reflects BTS' enduring connection with ARMY, Korea Times reported.
Fans attending select dates of the group's ongoing Arirang world tour have already had a preview of the song, as BTS included the track in the concert setlist ahead of its official digital release. In addition to the single, BTS will also release a special vinyl edition titled Arirang (613 Limited Edition Picture Disc Vinyl) on the same day. The collector's edition will feature all tracks from the studio album, along with two bonus songs, namely 'Voice Message: Love Song' and 'Normal', bringing the total track count to 16.'Voice Message: Love Song' is said to include a recorded conversation among the BTS members as they discuss the question, "What is your love song?" , offering a glimpse into the group's creative process.The celebrations will continue next week, with BTS scheduled to release the music video for 'Merry Go Round'. The video will debut exclusively on Spotify on June 20 at 6 p.m.
