Bullayya college to host national conference on chemical research on December 11-12

G. Madhu Kumar, Secretary and Correspondent, Dr. Lankapalli Bullayya College, on Friday launched the brochure for a National Conference on Emerging Areas of Chemical Research, to be held at the college campus on December 11 and 12, 2026, in collaboration with the Royal Society of Chemistry – India Deccan Local Section.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Madhu said that the conference would focus on emerging areas of chemical research addressing societal needs, technological advancement and sustainable development. He added the event would offer a platform for knowledge sharing, academic interaction and research collaboration among scientists, academicians, researchers and students.

The two-day conference will include keynote lectures and technical sessions by academicians and researchers from institutions across the country. Its themes include green and sustainable chemistry, materials chemistry, medicinal and pharmaceutical chemistry, and energy and environmental chemistry.

Organisers said the interdisciplinary event was expected to benefit faculty members, research scholars, and postgraduate and undergraduate students, besides professionals in the field of chemistry.

The launch was attended by the principals of the UG and PG colleges and the Engineering college, the Dean of Campus Coordination, the conference convener, vice-principals, heads of departments and faculty members.
