CAR constable chases chain-snatcher in Vijayanagar, recovers gold chain worth ₹6 lakh

A 35-year-old City Armed Reserve (CAR) constable, who was on his way to work, chased and nabbed a chain-snatcher after a dramatic pursuit of 1.5 kilometres near the railway underpass at Bapuji Nagar on February 5.

City Police Commissioner Seemant Kumar Singh issued a certificate of appreciation to constable Hanumantha Putani on Tuesday, February 17.
