The accused allegedly disclosed that the knives used in the crimes had been ordered through Blinkit.

To verify these claims, Delhi Police carried out a decoy operation by posing as customers and placing orders for button knives through the platform.

Officials said the knives were successfully delivered, corroborating the statements made by the accused.

Following this verification, the police registered an FIR against Blinkit.

Raids were conducted at several Blinkit dark stores across Delhi, where officers recovered more than a dozen button knives.

Police officials said a notice will soon be issued to the company seeking its response regarding the alleged sale of such items through its delivery network.

Further investigation was underway to determine the extent of distribution and whether similar purchases were linked to other criminal cases.
