Will CBSE release a topper’s list?
The CBSE will not release an official toppers list for the Class 12 board exams. This is a formal policy aimed at protecting students’ mental health and reducing unhealthy competition. The Board has confirmed that it will not identify Rank 1,2, or 3 at the national or regional level and will not mention terms like “First Division”, “Second Division”, or “Distinction.” Instead the board will issue digital merit certificates to students who rank in the top 0.1% of scorers in individual subjects nationwide. These certificates can be accessed via DigiLocker.
