Ram Kamal Mukherjee to direct the biopic

Filmmaker Ram Kamal Mukherjee will helm the ambitious period drama. The director has previously worked on films based on real-life personalities, making Nibedita another addition to his growing list of biographical projects. Reports say that the production is expected to commence in early 2027.
