Chief Minister Rekha Gupta slapped by man during Jan Sunvai event, alleges BJP

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta was slapped by a man during a Jan Sunwai (public hearing) at her residence on Wednesday, police said. The man, said to be in his 30s, had come with some papers when he suddenly struck her.

He was immediately detained and taken into police custody. The BJP later confirmed the incident, with party spokesperson Praveen Shankar saying Gupta was targeted during the hearing.
