Citizens can self-enumerate as part of census-2027, says Shivamogga DC

Deputy Commissioner Prabhulinga Kavalikatti said that the house listing and housing census, as part of the first phase of Census-2027, will be conducted across the State from April 16 to May 15.

In a press release issued on Tuesday, Mr. Kavalikatti said the enumerators would collect information about the condition of houses, available facilities and household assets. The citizens could opt for self-enumeration from April 1 to April 15.

The citizens could log into the official website by entering the mobile number and filling in the form. They would get a self-enumeration ID after the submission, and the same could be shared with the enumerators when they visit the house.

The enumerators would start visiting houses from April 16. Those who could not avail themselves of the self-enumeration process could share the information with the enumerators.
