Union Minister of Civil Aviation K. Rammohan Naidu on Tuesday (February 17) said that the Centre is giving top priority for establishment of Kendriya Vidyalayas in remote areas also to enable children to have an opportunity to study in top class schools affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education. Along with Palasa MLA Gowthu Sireesha and TDP senior leader Yarlagadda Venkanna Chowdary, he visited Nemalipuri site of Palasa constituency for the establishment of Kendriya Vidyalaya in the segment.
Speaking to media on the occasion, he said that parents of Palasa-Itchpauram areas are unable to send their kids all the way to Srikakulam for their study in Kendriya Vidyalaya located in the district headquarters. He hoped that the school with state-of-the-art facilities will be ready within a couple of years. Earlier, he has visited Kasibugga Railway Station and reviewed construction of Road over Bridge. Senior railway officials have explained the designs and construction procedure to Mr. Rammohan Naidu who in turn made a few suggestions to them.
