Class 12 Student Butchered By Jilted Lover In Broad Daylight In MP, No One Comes To Her Rescue

In Madhya Pradesh's Narsinghpur, a Class 12 student was murdered by her jilted lover, Abhishek Koshti, inside a hospital on June 27.

A horrific incident unfolded in Madhya Pradesh’s Narsinghpur district where a Class 12 student was butchered and murdered publicly inside a district hospital. The incident occurred on June 27 and the CCTV footage of the heinous crime emerged on Monday. As per a report by the Times of India, victim was killed by her jilted lover.

The CCTV footage shows hospital staff, patients and other onlookers standing still while the heinous crime was taking place in broad daylight. The victim was attacked outside the Trauma Centre of the district hospital.

Accused identified as Abhishek Koshti was reportedly victim’s abandoned lover and the video shows that both of them engage in a small conversation. However, soon after the matter flares up and Koshti is seen physically assaulting the girl and then eventually slitting her throat with a knife. He also tries to harm himself before fleeing on a motorcycle.

The TOI report cites statement of one of the nursing officer who said that accused warned them to not interfere otherwise he will kill them too. The victim was a resident of Patel Ward in Narsinghpur and daughter of Hiralal Chaudhary. She had visited the hospital to see an acquaintance admitted in the maternity ward.

The incident occurred at around 2:30 pm in the presence of hospital staff and security guards. Abhishek Koshti attacks the victim and flees, while she dies due to excessive bleeding.

The accused was arrested within an hour of the incident. As per his statement, his friendship began with the victim through social media and he admitted on killing citing that she was ‘cheating on him’.
