Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will visit Nalgonda on June 28 to launch a series of major infrastructure and drinking water projects, including the foundation stone laying for Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) roads estimated to cost nearly ₹13,000 crore.
According to the proposed schedule, the Chief Minister will travel by helicopter from Hyderabad and arrive in Kanagal mandal. He will first unveil a commemorative pylon for the HAM road projects at the Agricultural Market Committee (AMC) yard in Kanagal.
The HAM road programme is one of the State government’s flagship infrastructure initiatives aimed at improving road connectivity and accelerating economic development across Telangana.
Following the pylon unveiling, Mr. Revanth Reddy will lay the foundation stone for Phase-I drinking water supply works under the Nalgonda Municipal Corporation. This project is intended to strengthen potable water infrastructure in the rapidly growing town, said Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy.
The Chief Minister will later address a public meeting at the NG College grounds in Nalgonda, where he is expected to outline the government’s development agenda and highlight ongoing welfare and infrastructure programmes. He will also distribute financial assistance cheques to members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs).
Mr Venkat Reddy reviewed the arrangements for the Chief Minister’s visit and said the launch of the HAM road works is expected to improve connectivity and boost economic activity across several districts of the State.
