Chae Jung An, best known for her role in the hit Korean drama ‘Coffee Prince’ alongside Gong Yoo, has recently opened up about her views on love, marriage and life in general. The actress appeared on an online variety show where she spoke honestly about dating, past relationships, and her plans for the future.

Chae Jung An on marriage and her priorities

As a guest on S#ARP member Lee Jihye’s online show, Chae Jung An was asked about her love life and whether she had any plans to remarry. The 47-year-old actress gave a very straightforward answer, saying marriage simply isn’t for her and that her focus lies elsewhere. She even surprised everyone by saying she’s preparing for her own death, highlighting how her priorities have changed over time.Chae Jung An explained that instead of thinking about remarriage or a new relationship, she’s working on becoming a self-reliant and independent person. Her ultimate goal, she shared, is to reach a point where she doesn’t need to rely on anyone, and to still be famous while doing it!

Wants a simpler life and a secure future

Talking about her lifestyle, the actress revealed, "I mean that I’m trying to move away from my maximalist lifestyle… If I were to pass away out of the blue, who is going to take care of all the stuff I leave behind? You know?"She also said she’s still contributing to her national pension and retirement savings, with plans to eventually move into a nice senior community. "My goal is… I want to move into a nice senior community. I want to be the hottest one there," she joked.


Her past relationships

Chae Jung An was previously married in 2005, but the marriage ended just two years later in divorce. Since then, she’s only dated one person publicly, choosing instead to spend most of her time focusing on herself.
