‘Con City’ box office collection day 5: Arjun Das and Anna Ben starrer adds Rs 42 lakh; total collection stands at Rs 4.07 crore

The Arjun Das and Anna Ben starrer crime comedy drama ‘Con City,’ directed by Harish Durairaj, is enjoying a decent run at the box office after it received largely positive to mixed reviews. The film saw a 5% growth on Tuesday’s collection from a day before.According to trade analyst Sancilk, ‘Con City’ minted Rs 42 lakh on Day 5 across 948 shows. After Tuesday's collection, the total India gross collection stands at Rs 4.68 crore, and the total India net collections Rs 4.07 crore as of now.On the opening day, ‘Con City’ made Rs 75 lakh with over 972 screenings. The film is experiencing a consistent form of run at the box office, as on the second day it added Rs 1.20 crore and Rs 1.30 crore on Sunday.

Later, the numbers dropped during the weekdays; on Monday, the film made only Rs 40 lakh.

‘Con City’ occupancy

On day 5, ‘Con City’ recorded an overall occupancy of 13.75%. It saw 9.75% occupancy in the morning, then later rose to 12.92% in the afternoon. It saw a gradual increase in the evening shows, which were at 12.58% and wrapped up the day with 15.83% at night.In addition to the leading pair, the film also includes Yogi Babu and veteran actor Vadivukkarasi in key roles.
