Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday condoled the passing of Ananda Raju, 67, founder-member of the Raju Vegesna Foundation.
“Through generous donations, he undertook numerous initiatives such as establishing community kitchens, drinking water plants, and facilities in hospitals, delivering remarkable services to the public. Ananda Raju earned a good name in the hearts of many through his service activities, and his passing is an irreparable loss. I express my deepest condolences to his family members,” the Chief Minister said in a post on ‘ X’ on Monday.
Minister for Human Resource Development Nara Lokesh in a post on ‘X’ said, “Through the foundation, he facilitated many amenities in hospitals, temples, and schools. Ananda Raju’s services, which earned him a place in the hearts of people through voluntary service programmes, are unforgettable. I pray to God that his soul may find peace”.
Former Chief Minister and YSRCP President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy said that Ananda Raju played a pivotal role in the foundation’s operations, contributing significantly to the welfare of devotees by allocating crores of rupees to provide essential facilities at various temples across the country. For many years, he continued his selfless service initiatives while residing in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam. Mr. Jagan prayed for the departed soul to attain peace and extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members.
