A group of Youth Congress workers on Friday breached the security ring at Bharat Mandapam during the ongoing AI Impact Summit and staged a “shirtless protest”, shouting slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Delhi Police said four members of the Congress’s youth wing were arrested. The BJP accused the Congress of attempting to embarrass India during an international event.
BJYM protests against AI Summit disruption
Members of the BJP’s youth wing staged a protest in Jammu on Saturday against the “shirtless protest” by Indian Youth Congress (IYC) workers at the AI Impact Summit in New Delhi a day earlier, and demanded an apology from Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi.

Led by Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) president Arun Prabhat, several dozen protesters assembled at Kachi Chawni Chowk, raised slogans against the Congress, and burnt an effigy of Gandhi. They alleged that the disruption at the summit had hurt the “honour, dignity and reputation” of the country.
