Constable on duty dies of heart attack in Raichur

A 38-year-old constable from the District Armed Reserve (DAR) died of a heart attack in Arkera village, Deodurg taluk of Raichur district, on Tuesday.

The constable was named as Renuka Raj.

He was on duty in a village under Jalahalli Police limits when he developed chest pain. Immediately, he was taken to a health centre at Arkera. But, due to heart attack, he died in hospital, sources said.

Senior police officers and colleagues paid their last respects to the departed soul.
