 T Rajendar reacts to Rajinikanth's praise; says, 'Sir and I have a unique bond'

Rajinikanth's 'Coolie' was released in theaters on August 14, and the pan-Indian action drama received a thunderous start. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the action drama received an 'A' from CBFC, which preventedaudiences of all ages from enjoying the film in theaters.

However, 'Coolie' grossed over Rs 500 crore globally, proving Rajinikanth's box office power.

T Rajendar's association with Rajinikanth in 'Coolie' grabbed major attention as the two veteran stars teamed up for the first time under Lokesh Kanagaraj's direction.

T. Rajendar feels high on his friendship with Rajinikanth

T Rajendar has now reacted to his association with Rajinikanth and their friendship. "Rajinikanth sir and I have a unique bond that has always been kept simple, away from the media spotlight.

It is a bond so close that we keep it inside, without showing it to the outside world. I am immensely happy that Rajinikanth sir spoke highly of me at the recent 'Coolie' audio launch. I consider that an honor equal to any award or accolade.

Those words he said will be an encouragement that will continue to move me forward throughout my life," said T Rajendar, sharing about his relationship with Rajinikanth and the latter's praise for the former.

T Rajendar's vocals added power for 'Chikitu.'

T Rajendar sang a part of 'Chikitu,' composed by Anirudh Ravichander in 'Coolie,' to join 'Coolie,' and his vocals added power to the song. T Rajendar also featured in a special promo of the song, and the veteran star's energy thrilled fans. At the 'Coolie' audio launch, Rajinikanth thanked T. Rajendar for singing 'Chikitu' and praised the 70-year-old star's energy. But T Rajendar didn't attend the 'Coolie' audio launch, and the reason for his absence is unknown.
