Counter FIR filed in road rage stabbing

Bhopal: Police on Thursday registered a counter case in the Kajlikheda road rage stabbing incident after members of the second group lodged a complaint alleging that they too were attacked during the clash.

With the latest FIR, police have now booked members of both groups on charges including attempt to murder and arrested the accused.According to Kajlikheda police, Raj Dhurve, a resident of Jatkhedi who works as a painter, had gone to Kolar Dam with his friends on June 21. While returning, his vehicle allegedly overtook a motorcycle near Gol Jod in front of Amaltas Colony on Kolar Road, leading to an argument with Bharat Damor and his associates, residents of Damkheda.The verbal altercation soon escalated into a violent clash, with both groups allegedly attacking each other using knives and other weapons. Several youths sustained injuries in the incident.
