Cruz Beckham and his girlfriend Jackie Apostel have sparked engagement rumours after fans noticed a ring on her finger during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The couple attended Brazil’s match against Scotland at Miami Stadium on Wednesday with Cruz’s father, David Beckham.
Jackie later shared photos from the game on Instagram, where the ring caught people’s attention. Jackie and Cruz both wore Brazil jerseys as they watched Brazil beat Scotland 3-0. Jackie, who was born in São Paulo to a Brazilian mother and a German father, has often spoken about her connection to Brazil.
She shared pictures from the stadium on Instagram and wrote,
“Juuuust happy to be here.” In the photos, fans quickly noticed a ring on her finger, leading to fresh engagement rumours online. However, the couple has not commented on the speculation.
David Beckham was also seen enjoying the match. Although he earned 115 caps for England during his football career, he appeared to celebrate Brazil’s win with his son. The pair shared a warm hug in the stands, while Jackie also wore one of Romeo Beckham’s INTRA sportswear designs during the outing.
According to the Daily Mail, the newspaper has contacted Cruz’s representatives for comment, but no response has been made public.

The couple have been together since last summer after being introduced through their managers. Both share a strong interest in music, and Jackie has become an important part of Cruz’s creative journey.
During a recent fan Q&A, Jackie explained that they first met during a songwriting session.
“We got put in a writing session and just like both were so obsessed with what we were doing and music. We became really good friends and then here we are!”
When asked about their first date, the couple laughed while trying to remember the details. Cruz first thought it was a rooftop cinema, before changing his answer.
“So me and Cruz went to the studio and we sat in the studio until 3am, but like you didn’t even kiss me!” Jackie said.
Cruz replied, “I was nervous.”
Jackie added that they both already knew there was something special between them.
“To be fair we knew though, it felt different from other sessions. And then the next day we went to a rooftop cinema with friend Stella who third-wheeled us. And that was our first real date.”
Jackie has also helped Cruz with writing songs and promoting his music. Cruz released his debut single in 2025 and has continued working on his music career.
