CSR: Coca-Cola India, UP Govt Join for Water, Waste, Livelihood Initiatives

NEW DELHI (India CSR): Coca-Cola India has partnered with the Uttar Pradesh government through a three-year MoU to drive community development and environmental sustainability across the state. The collaboration focuses on key areas such as water access, waste management, recycling systems, and livelihood generation, particularly in high-footfall regions.

For Coca-Cola India, this initiative strengthens its commitment to sustainability and enhances its brand image as a responsible corporate citizen. It also helps build stronger relationships with government bodies and local communities while supporting long-term business sustainability. By aligning CSR efforts with environmental and social priorities, the company not only contributes to community well-being but also reinforces trust, credibility, and its presence in a key growth market like Uttar Pradesh.

The MoUwas exchanged in the presence of Vijay Kiran Anand, CEO, Invest UP, Anand Kumar Pandey, AGM Coordination/ OSD / CSR Nodal, Invest UP, Vivek Ladhani, Executive Director at SLMG Beverages Pvt Ltd, Siddharth Ladhani, Director at SLMG Beverages Pvt Ltd and Coca-Cola India team.

The collaboration will focus on developing on-ground solutions such as water access infrastructure, strengthening waste collection and recycling systems, and enabling skill-building and livelihood opportunities for local communities, particularly across high-footfall tourism destinations. The initiative also aims to enhance environmental infrastructure and visitor experience, while supporting long-term, community-led impact.
