Inmany rural communities, limited mobility, lack of awareness, and affordability challenges can delay timely access to eye care services. By deploying the Mobile Medical Unit directly to people’s doorsteps, this initiative aims to bridge this gap for an estimated 1,00,000+ residents in the region. The unit will provide free eye screenings, primary consultations, and basic treatment support and spectacles.

Through such programmes, Honda India Foundation continues to support community-focused healthcare initiatives aligned with local needs and a long-term approach.
