Cyber labs to be set up in every district to combat cybercrime

The State government will set up cyber labs in all districts to combat the rising cyber offences, Home Minister G. Parameshwara said in Belagavi on Friday (April 17).

“These centres will not only help investigating officers detect and prevent cybercrimes, but also train police personnel in related fields,’’ he said. He was speaking after inaugurating the newly built police quarters and laying foundation stones for a few more.
