The UFC had to finalize the card quickly as plans evolved behind the scenes.Gaethje also confirmed the unusual timeline in a recent UFC interview. He revealed that he was first told on Thursday that he would not compete at the White House event. However, the situation changed within a day, and he was later informed that he might still appear on the historic card.Despite the confusion around the fight lineup, UFC Freedom 250 is still expected to be one of the most unique events in the promotion’s history, with the June 14 show set to take place on the South Lawn of the White House.
