Davangere: JNN College of Engineering emerges as winner in marketing fest

Jawaharlal Nehru National College of Engineering, Shivamogga, emerged as the winner of ‘Minds2Market’ Marketing B-School Fest, organised by the GM Business School of GM University in Davangere on February 20.

The runner-up position was bagged by the host, GM Business School. Over 160 students from various parts of the State participated in the event, which comprised three rigorous rounds, including a Business Quiz, Product Development, and Marketing Presentation of the developed product, a release from the B School said.

Students actively participated and showcased their managerial and marketing skills. Sandesh K. Shamanur, trade marketing manager at Tata Consumer Products Pvt. Ltd, and Akshara P., placement officer at GM University, were the judges.

The fest was aimed at nurturing innovation, creativity, and business acumen among students. It also focused on equipping participants with innovative thinking and practical exposure to real-world marketing skills, the release said.

GM Business School dean D. Ravinath, director Shivakumar S, and faculty members coordinated the event.
