NEW DELHI: The Delhi government has prioritised education, health, and transport in its Rs 62,550-crore Budget Estimates for 2026–27, with multiple key allocations and projects announced.Education (Rs 19,326 crore in 2026–27; Rs 19,291 crore in 2025–26)
- Rs 200 crore for new school buildings; Rs 275 crore for expansion
- Rs 150 crore for 8,777 smart classrooms
- Rs 90 crore for free bicycles to Class IX girls
- Rs 50 crore for sports infrastructure
- Rs 10 crore for AI use in assessments and learning
- Rs 5 crore for medical rooms in govt schools
- New Sainik School announced
Health (Rs 13,035 crore in 2026–27; Rs 12,893 crore in 2025–26)
- Rs 515 crore for new hospitals (Madipur, Siraspur, Jwalapuri)
- Rs 150 crore for 7 new ICU hospitals
- Rs 787 crore for diagnostic machines, medicines
- Rs 50 crore for medical college at IG Hospital, Dwarka
- Rs 202 crore for transgenders under PMJAY
- Upgrade of Rao Tula Ram, Ambedkar, Shastri hospitals

- Rs 1,392 crore to upgrade 750 km roads
- Rs 575 crore for corridors, flyovers
- Rs 10 crore for elevated Ring Road feasibility
- Rs 200 crore for Drainage Master Plan
