Delhi Police team questions 2 in Chandil for ties to terror groups

Jamshedpur: Two persons were questioned by a special team of Delhi Police in Seraikela-Kharsawan district for their alleged links to terror outfits which had threatened to carry out attacks in various parts of the country on Republic Day this year.The suspects, who are residents of Islamnagar and Kapali areas, were picked up from Kapali outpost area of the Chandil block on Friday. They were released in the early hours of Saturday after questioning.“The Delhi Police officials were here for cross-verification of the information they gathered about the two suspects. After the questioning was done, both persons were released from the police station on a personal recognisance bond,” said a district police officer, who was part of the questioning, on anonymity..The suspects were picked up from Kapali outpost area of Chandil block on Friday for questioning
