On Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ birthday, a delightful throwback from the sets of Ra.One has resurfaced, revealing an unexpected emotional moment involving Shah Rukh Khan and Sanjay Dutt. While the film was packed with action and special effects, what happened behind the scenes was just as memorable.

A Last-Minute Dash to Set

In an episode of Live My Life for UTV Stars, Priyanka recalled arriving straight from the U.S. to shoot for Ra.One. With no time for fittings, she headed directly to set in a complicated costume. Designer Manish Malhotra quickly stepped in, took her measurements, and rushed the outfit for alterations.The actress went on to share that while her costume was being altered, she checked in with director Anubhav Sinha and Shah Rukh Khan, who appeared unfazed and continued shooting.

However, by the time she was ready, she was three hours late. Though she apologized to them, they told her to apologize to Sanjay Dutt instead. “I didn’t want to go because I’m scared of him,” she admitted, but they insisted she do it.

She also recalled breaking down after Sanjay Dutt responded harshly to her apology, prompting him to call Shah Rukh Khan. Laughing as she revisited the memory, the Heads of State actress said Shah Rukh amusingly hid behind someone to watch the drama unfold from a distance. Despite the chaos, she confirmed the shoot wrapped on time and assured, “No one is upset!”
