Diecast collectors gather for CDC Collector’s meet 2.0 in Kolkata

Miniature automobile enthusiasts from across the city came together for CDC Collector’s Meet 2.0, organised by Calcutta Diecast Club at EN Block, Sector V in Kolkata. The event brought diecast collectors and automobile lovers under one roof to celebrate the hobby of miniature car collecting and to connect with fellow enthusiasts. The meet featured displays of rare, premium and limited-edition diecast models, along with detailed dioramas and miniature city setups that recreated lifelike automotive scenes. Collectors showcased their prized models while sharing stories behind their collections and exchanging insights about popular diecast brands and rare finds.

More than 100 collectors and enthusiasts attended the gathering, making it one of the largest diecast collector meets in the city.

Participants included long-time hobbyists, new collectors and young enthusiasts from different parts of Kolkata and nearby areas, many of whom are active members of national and international diecast collector communities online. The event was supported by Collector’s Den.

“CDC Collector’s Meet 2.0 was not just about displaying miniature cars — it was about bringing together people who share the same passion,” said Simon Biswas, founder of Calcutta Diecast Club. “Seeing over a hundred collectors come together, exchange ideas and celebrate this hobby shows how strong the diecast community in Kolkata is becoming. Our goal is to continue building this platform and inspire more people, especially younger enthusiasts, to join the hobby.
