Don’t support chartered flights for Abhishek if TMC pays for them: Kunal

Kolkata: Responding to allegations that TMC national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee is still using chartered flights for his Delhi trips, party MLA and spokesperson Kunal Ghosh on Friday said if flight costs are borne by the party, he does not support this.“I am not aware whether he (Abhishek) is taking a scheduled flight or a chartered flight. I am also not sure whether he is hopping in a chartered flight being used by someone else to travel. In either case, there is nothing wrong. But if party funds are being used to fly to Delhi in chartered flights then I cannot support it, given the times,” he told reporters.
