Download driving licenses and vehicle registration certificates via the mParivahan app starting April 11

With the Transport Department fully operationalising temporary registrations for non-transport vehicles through the VAHAN portal, as many as 33,000 temporary registration certificates have been issued via the platform. Permanent registration certificates and driving licences (DLs) will be available for download on the mParivahan app from April 11.

The department stated that the process was operationalised on March 23, following which around 1,000 vehicle dealers were trained to ensure efficient processing of temporary registration applications.
