Dry Day and Ek Number actress Ayli Ghiya is engaged

A couple of days ago, actress Ayli Ghiya took many by surprise with a life update. "Almost everyone was surprised," she laughs. The young actor, known for Marathi films like Ek Number and Dry Day, announced her engagement to US-based Christopher James Lebron. We are engaged."Speaking to us, Ayli shares, "We met in 2023 when I was in the US and became friends. We got along well and started dating a year later. Honestly, getting engaged or married wasn't even a thought then since we both come from completely different backgrounds. But when I met his family I felt there are a lot of common things in both cultures." Christopher is a Mexican-American who works in a social media company in the US, and he and Ayli share mutual love for fitness, dance and acting.

Ayli also tells us that they weren't even planning to make a grand announcement. "But word started getting around and we thought it would be better if we made it official," she says. While they haven't finalised a wedding date yet, the preparations are ongoing and the wedding will mostly happen in the US. "We are aiming at 2027 but let's see how everything shapes up, right from visa to the arrangements," says Ayli, who plans to shift base to the US after the marriage.
