Election Commission of India (ECI) Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Kerala Election Results 2026: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has now declared the Assembly Election Results 2026 for Tamil Nadu, Assam, West Bengal, Kerala, and Puducherry, with constituency-wise winners and party-wise seat tallies finalised. The official results are available on eciresults.nic.in, eci.gov.in, and results.eci.gov.in.
In Tamil Nadu, actor-turned politician Vijay’s Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) has emerged as the single-largest party, winning 107 seats, while the DMK secured 60 seats and AIADMK won 47 seats, according to ECI data. In a key result, TVK’s V S Babu defeated Chief Minister M K Stalin in Kolathur by a margin of 8,795 votes.

In West Bengal, the BJP has won 206 seats, crossing the majority mark of 148 in the 294-member Assembly, marking a significant political shift in the state.
In Kerala, the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) has secured victory with 63 seats, while the CPI(M) has won 26 seats.
In Assam, the BJP has won 82 seats, while the Congress secured 19 seats. The BOPF and AGP have won 10 seats each, as per ECI results.
With results now declared across all constituencies, the Assembly Election Results 2026 mark a major shift in the political landscape across these states.
